Njirimara ( Identity )

Njirimara explores identity as something shaped by culture, memory, and experience. Through hidden faces, fabric, shadow, and gesture, the work reflects on the parts of ourselves that are seen, concealed, and carried from one place to another.

Rooted in Igbo heritage, the series asks what remains of who we are when our surroundings change, and how much of home continues to live within us.
